A Reedy Celebration of Black Arkansas Composers

Join us for an evening of clarinet quartets with C4 Ensemble at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, May 26. The performance will feature rarely heard works by African American composers from Arkansas. That includes Scott Joplin’s rags, Florence Price’s keyboard pieces and William Grant Still’s quartet. More than a stoic performer on a distant stage, this evening performance promises to bring the energy of audience, musician and place together in perfect harmony. We can’t wait to commune with you through music at this free event.
