Blue Thread's Multicultural Tapestry

Join us at 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, in the Early American Galleries of Crystal Bridges for a live musical performance with Blue Thread. Blue Thread traces connections between Portuguese, Sephardic, Celtic, and American ballads intertwined with Persian, Balkans, and other global traditions. The thread is blue, colored by the melancholy “blues” that haunt their tunes and by the sea that both inspires the lyrics of many of their songs and provides passageways between cultures. This is a FREE all-ages performance in our ongoing collaboration with the museum.
